I loved Daniel throughout the season, too, but I was also underwhelmed last night. I loved his work, of course, and every outfit that came down the runway, my boyfriend was all “I can totally see you wearing that,” – but that’s exactly why I was underwhelmed. It was all too wearable for the runway show; I didn’t see any risks being taken. And the judges were right, it wasn’t telling a cohesive story (none of them were, in comparison with Jay and Kara Saun’s lines). Though to be fair I don’t think Project Runway made the “cohesive theme” in the final show seem as important as they did last year…but I loved when Michael Kors offered Daniel a job, that was awesome!
