My Sidekick suffered a major injury last night, and perhaps it’s just as well: in the past two days, I’ve seen two major trendoids revert from Sidekick to (gasp) Blackberry.
The first was Jordan Silver, who announced it was more compact and more Parisian than his Sidekick. I smiled and said, “you mean it was cheaper?” and he nodded and agreed.
The next was Theodora, who toted her Blackberry inside her tote for pizza yesterday. “I couldn’t do a Sidekick,” she said. “Every time I typed, I thought I was playing Sega. You know? Too much.”
But is it enough to sway the ‘kickers…

The Blackberry is a little tooooo Wall St for my liking though…
I’m holding out for the Motorola Q…much more stylish.

blackberry is sooo fashion and industry sweets. sidekick is for kids that believe their own hype. i have been telling you this. i see you more of a Treo gal, like Jane.
I made the jump to blackberry, but i never had a SK. They’re fine if you’re 13. It’s a toy.
