A Yes or No Answer

Vivienne Westwood gloves.

They’re mens,

Would they ever work for a woman?

If she’s sort of tiny, like me?

Or: if you give a guy Vivienne Westwood gloves, will he freak out that you like him too much?

$98, leather.

Yes, yes, and probably no to the last one.

I would say no…but mostly because it’s not a worthwhile purchase with the temperatures on the rise in New York. They’re also a smidge to masculine. However, rocking a nice gold and silver men’s watch is hyper chic. I saw Mary Kate pulling off a big, shiny, expensive men’s Rolex she had given to her ex-boyfriend as a gift and I went straight to my dad’s dresser and found the most “manly” one he had!

YES, YES, and NO, not if he’s not an idiot

Absolutely, they work. With a 3/4 sleeve and (covered) slim forearm peeking out in between.

I have godawful circulation and layer a chunky short leather glove like those over a thinner knit longer glove whenever the temperature is in the 30′s.

Friday was my first day without any gloves. Others may think its old fashioned but I think it prevents me from catching colds.

    They are ugly.

They remind me of the white gloves Jean Seberg wears in Breathless with that awesome dress. I like.
